Official PS3 Media Server developer

I’ve recently become an official developer of PS3 Media Server and I know some people are curious about what that means for the future of the SubJunk Build.

I will continue to make the SubJunk Build, because I have customised so many things the way I want them in ways that may not line up with what the other developers want, and it is nice to have the freedom to release things instantly instead of waiting on others.

You can expect some things from the SubJunk Build to appear in the official code, and other things will stay out, at least in the short-term.

SB12 is coming soon 🙂

PS3 Media Server (SubJunk Build) 1.20.414-SB11

This is a feature and bugfix release

Changelog:

  • Processes killed cleanly on non-Windows operating system (issue 680)
  • Allow custom MEncoder options at renderer level (from here)
  • English language updates
  • Added full changelog (CHANGELOG-SB.txt in the program folder)
  • Removed the iTunes navigation patch from issue 921 since it broke iTunes support for some users
  • Synchronised with the official build, which adds Android support and preliminary virtual folders support
  • Removed patch from issue 595 which allowed an extra file sorting option because it conflicts with the official build synchronisation

Edit: Download links corrected, thanks to all who let me know about it 🙂
