Hi.
Is it normal for pms not to play a file and not report an error in the traces? For example:
[New I/O server worker #1-6] TRACE 17:42:15.682 Starting transcode/remux of Liar Liar.mkv
[New I/O server worker #1-11] TRACE 17:42:32.964 Starting transcode/remux of Spiderman.mp4
[New I/O server worker #1-9] TRACE 17:42:53.931 Starting transcode/remux of The Dark Knight.mkv
Liar liar says corrupted data and spiderman starts playing but the video is throttled, like 2x or 3x normal speed. If there is an error, shouldn’t it be aleast mentioned in traces?
I know I need to look in to the debug.log to find out why they aren’t playing correctly but still interested about this. This has happened with all SB versions I’ve tried (13 – 16).
Oh and the SB15 fixed many “not playing” issues. Just wanted you to know.
Anyone else experiencing same things? Thx in advance. <3

One comment: since i installed SB15 no server icon is showed on my Bravia (was using 13 before that)

@Bravia Owner: Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release 🙂
@KrisseZ: If the program served the file properly it wouldn’t show errors in traces. I think tsMuxeR is the cause of some of these problems, can you please try disabling the tsMuxeR option in the MEncoder settings?
@Nomad: Thanks 🙂
@lnworkcal: Great! 🙂

@SB: I tried disabling the tsMuxer but it didn’t have any effect. Movie still fast forwarded out of sync and I am now talking ’bout the spiderman.mp4. Movie has .srt formated external subtitles. Still no error in traces. I think there was someone else who also mentioned this problem on pms beta builds forum.
Hope this helps.

Great job !
One small issue tho:
Whenever I play a movie with .idx and .sub subtitles, I have no subtitles.
When I chose to transcode it, using MEencoder/AviSynth, the subs shows, but I have no audio?
Using SB16 if that is any help.
