@cosmo: What exactly is it that broke in SB20? And would you be willing to test custom builds for me so I can fix the problem?

Thnx for the new release, installed it just Yesterday.
However, I have a question regarding (Blu-ray) MKV’s
Everytime i want to run a MKV on my pc directly, there are no problems. But when I try to stream it to the PS3 it says ‘Data corrupt’.

hey SubJunk,
whenever I try to play a file, it doesn’t work. the screen stays black.
if I go out of the media server and then back into it and load the same file.. it works.
I have to do this with *every* file I want to play.
any idea how to fix this?

@Don: I think some users have reported that deleting their PMS.conf file fixes these types of errors, does it work for you?
@para: That’s very interesting. Please follow these steps: http://www.ps3mediaserver.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3507&p=38484#p38484

@para: I’ve had the same ‘problem’ as you. The problem was the firewall of my antivirus (McAfee). I added PMS to my ‘Secure programs’ and it fixxed it all.
@SubJunk: Thank you for you incredible fast response. I’ll see if that works and come back to you if it does.

I don’t have any antivirus or firewall so it’s not that.
